Vertical Support Mount

This connection unit is what holds the vertical support structure that runs from the deck to the hull, and then the hull extrusion that stiffens the hull together. Some people want to add additional support structures to the inside of their kayaks (between the standard one at the cockpit and the footrest, or alternatively in the back). One complete set of 2 Support mounts and the vertical bar are needed per re-enforcing. All screw hardware is supplied with the mount.

 

Hull Extrusion

The hull extrusion is the long beam that runs the length of the hull, giving it the support it needs to maintain shape. Whether you're outfitting another make of kayak, or need to replace one from a Soul kayak, this is the main support system.
